The Other Convention in Town

A very nice write-up on Ron Paul's rally for the republic comes from author Beth Hawkins and MinnPost.com. As Drew Ivers, Paul's delegate coordinator, states in the article, "Most of our people are not wealthy. They're working people feeling the pinch. [...] With the price of gas, they're caravanning in minivans and the like. These people are sacrificing to make this happen. I think it's commendable." Indeed, those who are making the sacrifices necessary to be there for the rally on Tuesday night, in the middle of the work week, should be praised in their commitment to the cause of liberty.
